He is a retired Kansas State Trooper and presently serves as a District Judge in his home of Troy, KS.  Jim Kenney - Topkea, Kansasjkenney@uv-tackle.com Jim and his wife Sharon have two sons and five grandchildren. Jim retired in 2000 spending most of his adult life working in the Criminal Justice field. His law enforcement career started in 1968 with the Wabaunsee County Kansas Sheriff's Department. In 1977 Jim was appointed Sheriff by Kansas Governor Robert F. Bennett when the elected Sheriff died. In 1982 Jim started work with the State Of Kansas as a Criminal Investigator, retiring in 1996. Jim then worked for the Federal Court System as a Staff Investigator until he was forced to retire in 2000 because of medical reasons. Jim has loved fishing from a very young age earning his first rod by washing the windows of the drug store where his mother worked in 1952. He caught his first Bass in 1960 out of a farm pond while fishing with a friend and has been hooked on Bass Fishing since. Making many appearances at seminars, outdoor show, and bass clubs, speaking about Bass Fishing. Jim believes busy hands and minds are less likely to get into trouble, so catch some kids and teach them to fish. |
 Joel Hartman - Shawnee, Kansasjhartman@uv-tackle.com Married - Wife and Daughter Pets - Dogs, Murphy and Rudy Hobbies - Fishing and Hunting I was born in Topeka, Kansas. As the son of a career Air force father I had the opportunity to live in different parts of the country. This afforded me the opportunity to fish many different lakes with my father. As an adult I continued to fish and entered my first club tournament in 1997. There was no looking back from there. In 2000 I entered my first FLW/BFL tournament. I had a lot to learn about the competitive side of bass fishing. In 2002 my opportunity came. I was very fortunate to meet a group of fisherman who not only were very good at fishing but knew the business side as well. Brett Ware, Jim Kenney and Roy Roper, were my mentors. There knowledge helped propel my career in the sport of Professional Bass Fishing.
